Our main interests in this venture and the potential benefits for all parties involved are based on the literary property rights themselves, or the option to these rights.
We acquire what we feel to be extremely marketable entertainment properties and then market them to other entertainment entities such as major studios, TV and cable networks, and the video gaming industry. Once these are acquired, the gold is now in our chest and we now have the control of the project and determine its value for future sale at our discretion.
We have eyes and ears in many places throughout the world thru various private contacts and we go after the prime material and snatch it up, many times even before other possibly interested parties even know about it.
It’s almost like owning real estate – only without the upkeep, and certainly much more valuable because we will only sell our material at a profit. Or we will hold onto it when we own the rights outright until we get our price. Just like if you own a home or something else of value, you decide when to sell it and for how much. This is exactly what we do.
Once a project is sold, we are in the black. Remember, we will not sell rights to material we own unless it’s at a profit. If the project gets made and whether it goes on to be another major blockbuster or not, we will have already been paid and made our money. Depending on the negotiations and circumstances of each project, there is also a great possibility of also being attached to the back-end profits as well, which could amount to millions on top of what we’ve already been paid up front.
Needless to say we would still like to see everything we touch do well at the box office too, but it doesn’t hurt us financially if it doesn’t. We’re already working on our next acquisitions and developing other projects for the future.
